I don’t play golf—but I love tagging along when Conor does. Last weekend, we spent the afternoon at Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course in Pinedale, Wyoming, and it was more than just a round of golf—it was a peaceful escape into nature.
This scenic 9-hole golf course sits at over 7,000 feet and offers stunning views of the Wind River Mountains. As Conor played, I wandered with my camera, capturing quiet moments, local birds, and even a few mountain wildflowers. Locals say moose sometimes cross the fairways—and I believe it. The course is surrounded by pines, cottonwoods, and sagebrush, blending right into the Wyoming wilderness.
We wrapped up the day with appetizers at The Experience at Rendezvous Meadows, the on-site restaurant. It was the perfect ending to a quiet afternoon outdoors.
Even if you don’t golf, Rendezvous Meadows offers something special: wide-open skies, peaceful walking paths, and that small-town Wyoming charm.
