For this jigsaw puzzle, I decided to include the reflection of New Fork Canyon. I set my camera low, right above the water’s surface, and waited.
That’s what landscape and wildlife photography is: a sacred waiting game. You wait for the light to be perfect. You wait for an animal to appear. You wait for them to look back at you. And in between those moments—you’re just still.
You breathe. You pray. You connect with God and His creation.

You become a witness. You notice how the light transforms everything—the texture of the canyon walls, the depth of the shadows, the warmth of the colors. It all changes in seconds, and somehow, it slows you down too.
