Whispers of New Life in the Wyoming Grass
Young pronghorn are beginning to move through the neighborhood like they already belong to the land, light on their feet, learning the world step by step beside their mothers. There’s something humbling about having them appear right outside the yard, close enough to witness the way they pause, graze, and follow in quiet rhythm. Through my lens, I’m not just photographing them, I’m learning them—their patterns, their curiosity, the way they seem to build small bonds and stay aware of one another as they grow.
Each day feels like a gift we don’t get to keep for long. They play, they feed, they drift in and out of view, and I find myself slowing down just to take it all in. It’s one of those rare experiences where creation doesn’t feel distant at all, but right here with us, unfolding in real time. I see God in it—the detail, the timing, the way nothing is rushed and everything has purpose.
