Two couples of Canada geese had just arrived on the other side of the lake. They were far away, and I hesitated about setting up my 200-600 Sony lens. Birds tend to fly away when you get too close, and I didn’t want to disturb them. But I had forgotten my book, and the temptation to photograph them was too strong. I couldn’t resist.

I decided to approach slowly. I took several steps, kneeled, snapped a few photos, and then kept moving closer. The male geese agitated. He was clearly agitated, honking at his mate, who seemed unbothered by his frustration. 

What fascinated me even more was how I could almost feel the emotions of these creatures through their actions. The photo I captured that day became more than just an image; it was a moment of connection, a glimpse into the world of wildlife, a small but precious piece of nature that lives on in our memories.
