Fremont Lake in the Fog – Photographic Print

Framing inspiration only. Print sold unframed; frame and mat not included

I arrived at Fremont Lake hoping to photograph a family of swans, but they kept moving farther away. As the snowfall grew heavier, I eventually returned to the truck and let Rhonda and Levon, my dogs play in the deep snow.

That's when something caught my eye. Fog had rolled in, wrapping the mountains in a soft, dreamy veil. The entire landscape had changed.

I grabbed my tripod and hurried back through the deep snow, hoping the light wouldn't disappear before I got there. I wished I had the agility of Rhonda and Levon! They ran through the snow while I struggled with every step.

But it was worth it.

The soft morning light, the mountains fading into the fog, and the stillness over Fremont Lake reminded me that God's creation is never the same twice.

Not every morning goes as planned, but sometimes the most beautiful moments happen when we slow down and let nature lead the way.
