Cork-back Coaster: We camped in mule deer heaven. We were visited by them all day long.

Deer are curious animals. They watched us unpack and settle. They smelled us at a decent distance. They have intense sight and big eyes. They were trying to figure out what was going on.

The deer found us. They make a noise that sounds like a sneeze. Some were studying us. Some were surprised to see us, so they ran away. Deer look adorable when they are running full speed. They hop. When they jump fences, they make it look like it’s effortless. I was surprised at how fast they could run.

We had a blast camping with them. I had never seen so many deer, so close. It was wonderful.
