Stones of Stillness, Colors of Passing Time
God paints the trees in fire, but only for a fleeting breath of time—will you let it pass, or will you keep it close?
Fall in Wyoming feels like standing inside one of God’s briefest miracles. The aspens blaze with copper, gold, and crimson, and the air carries the scent of pine mixed with the faint sweetness of fallen leaves. The light shifts quickly, slipping across the ridges like liquid gold, reminding us that these colors won’t last—they are a whisper of eternity wrapped in a single season.
When I pressed the shutter, I knew I was preserving more than just a scene. I was holding onto the hush of crisp mornings, the way the wind rustles through the trees like a hymn, and the sacred stillness that makes you stop, breathe deeper, and remember that time is always moving.
