Soda Lake Notebook | The Little Moments

We spent Soda Lake’s last day open to the public right where we wanted to be: beside the water, with the children along for the adventure.
While I photographed the view from different angles, I noticed the season quietly shifting. The lake was beginning to freeze, a little glimpse of how God changes the landscape in His own time.
Around us, Rhonda and Levon, our dogs, were busy playing, bringing the kind of smiles that make an ordinary outing feel special. Conor was trying to catch something, and I was happily catching moments with my camera.
Our outings are always better when we bring the children. As much as I love the scenery, sharing it with them is what makes the memory feel complete.
This notebook carries a little of that day at Soda Lake with it. Fill its dotted pages with family adventures, quiet prayers, and the small joys you want to remember as the seasons change.
