We went searching for wildlife and found a gathering of swans at a local park in Jackson. Some swam close to me, while others kept their distance. They seemed so peaceful, drifting across the water, until their little bottoms popped up as they searched for something to eat. Even the most graceful birds have their funny moments.
What held my attention was how they stayed in small family groups. Watching the adults alongside their young, I thought about the patience and care it takes to help little ones find their way.
That quiet scene reminded me to loosen my grip on tomorrow’s worries and trust God with what comes next. He will provide.
