The Red Winged Blackbird That Stole the Morning
Some signs of life are so bold, they demand your attention. After a long winter of quiet, a flash of black and red caught my eye, and suddenly the world felt alive again. A red winged blackbird had returned, perched confidently, chest lifted, singing like it owned the morning. The light hit just right—feathers glinting with hints of gold, wings outlined against the sky, the early sun brushing the landscape with warmth. I could almost feel the crisp air, hear the vibrant song ripple across the marsh, and sense God’s presence in the precision of every note.
