I was looking toward the pond when I heard a Red-naped sapsucker, meaning a woodpecker. I got excited when I heard it. It sounded like someone was knocking on a door. So I listen and try to find where the sound is coming from.

This time I was clumsy trying to get the camera ready. I had to change my setup completely. I was so nervous that my little friend would be gone. Sometimes is a little bit frustrating not being able to use my right hand properly (I have Cerebral Palsy). I finally conquered my frustration and got the camera where I wanted it.

This was the only photo that I took of the woodpecker. It is my first woodpecker, and I’m very proud of the picture and the moment.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to conquer my frustration.
